What is compensation?
The brain works from negative feedback. Each time we stand up to gravity the brain receives information from the rest of the body parts. If we have just fallen down or lifted something incorrectly, and a muscle on the left contracts while a muscle on the right relaxes, these two muscles tell the brain where they are relative to gravity. The brain must then tell other muscles to either contract or relax above and below this area so that a person stands as straight as possible with the greatest range of motion in each joint and the least amount of pain. This is called cause and compensation.
How does MyoKinesthetic work?
The MyoKinesthetic System finds the cause and clears it away so all the compensations the body is making are cleared. We stimulate each muscle along one nerve pathway looking for the nerve endings within each of these muscles to fire and send a signal to the brain that says "there is a change happening here". The brain receives this information and makes changes to it, allowing you to stand up more balanced, with greater range of motion and a decrease in pain that lasts.

This is not a repackaged technique. The muscles being treated are stretched and stimulated, so any technique that uses stretching may have some similarities. The major difference is in the actual treatment - the muscles that are treated together to clear the entire peripheral nervous system pathway.
